In this Tea Break training we’ll look at practical steps you can take to achieve CPD (Continuing Professional Development) accreditation for your training material. There are many advantages of CPD accreditation to you and your learners. People will have confidence in the quality of your training because:

CPD accreditation means people can trust the quality of your training material.

It’s important to note that this course will not guarantee that you will receive CPD accreditation. The purpose of this training is to share the approach Pathway IT took to obtain approval. Hopefully this will help you achieve accreditation for your activities. We’ll look at the steps and format of the courses and share some areas we had to update. This should save some valuable time.

There are areas that will be reviewed, such as the quality of your course content and your expertise in the subject matter. We’ll give some guidance on quality and ways to show your expertise, but these are some of the reasons we can’t guarantee success.

Having said this, we don’t want to make the process sound difficult. Pathway IT worked with The CPD Group and found that they were very professional and extremely helpful.

• Understand the importance of grammar and spelling in preparing professional courses and the use of Scribbr to ensure that your documents are professional quality.

Please note that the examples in this course are based on instructor-led and online courses. They contain modules, tests and coursework.
